Capítulo I
LA HIPOTECA ES UNA GARANTIA REAL CONSTITUIDA SOBRE BIENES QUE NO SE ENTREGAN AL ACREEDOR, Y QUE DA DERECHO A ESTE, EN CASO DE INCUMPLIMIENTO DE LA OBLIGACION GARANTIZADA, A SER PAGADO CON EL VALOR DE LOS BIENES, EN EL GRADO DE PREFERENCIA ESTABLECIDO POR LA LEY.
